A-AAGORA and CLIMAREST host joint meeting in Málaga

Sibling Mission Ocean and BlueMissionAA projects A-AAGORA and CLIMAREST bring together project partners and associated regions to a pivotal meeting focused on Living Lab engagement and scaling solutions, from October 22nd to 24th, 2024 in Málaga (Spain).

The meeting will bring together A-AAGORA and CLIMAREST project members, Associated Regions, and key stakeholders to develop a transition roadmap for sustainable ocean solutions.

From October 22nd to 24th, 2024, the A-AAGORA Horizon Mission Ocean Project will hold its General Assembly and AR (Associated Regions) Meeting in Málaga. This event will focus on the engagement of AR in A-AAGORA’s Living Lab process and strengthening collaboration with sibling project CLIMAREST, targeting innovative solutions for ocean sustainability.

On the first day, A-AAGORA and the 7 AR will meet internally, while CLIMAREST holds parallel sessions. The second day will bring both projects together, to explore opportunities for scaling up solutions and sharing experiences across regional contexts. The third day will focus on consolidating lessons learned, followed by a field trip to one of CLIMAREST’s replication sites for meeting participants.

This meeting aims to identify conditions and co-develop a transition roadmap that integrates technical, socio-economic, and governance factors, advancing efforts toward the systemic implementation of sustainable ocean solutions.
