Open Call for Proposals A-AAGORA project
The A-AAGORA project announces the open call for proposals, inviting local and/or regional organisations to apply to financial support of up to 70,000EUR each.
The deadline for proposals submission is 24th September 2023.
The project will select 7 ‘Associated Regions’ ranging the four referential basins (Atlantic-Arctic, Baltic, Mediterranean, Danube/Black Sea) to serve as exemplars of sustainable ecosystem development. The A-AAGORA project will work closely with the selected ‘Associated Regions’ to demonstrate the feasibility, scalability, and replication potential of innovative nature-based solutions, in order to boost climate change and mitigating its impacts.
The ‘Associated Regions’ encompass geographically interconnected areas with similar ecosystems or less-developed regions that could benefit from the demonstration activities of the A-AAGORA project, focused on restoration of Kelp forests, Seagrass and Sand dunes, and on the protection and restoration of Coastal areas.
This Call welcomes applications from local and/or regional organisations in Member States, Overseas Territories, and Associated Countries within the Horizon Europe programme, and the eligible applicants must demonstrate that their regions have ecosystems that can benefit from the proposed Living Lab demonstration activities.
