Mission Restore our Ocean and Waters Meeting
Representing the A-AAGORA project, the coordinator Ana Lillebø participated in the Mission Ocean and Waters “The concept of the associated regions. Funding for associated regions under the Mission Ocean calls” meeting on the 20th of October.
This event was organised by the European Commission (DG RTD-DG Mare) and the Executive Agency CINEA to present the Mission projects with open call for associated regions as well as to share best practices in reaching local and regional authorities from Mission projects with closed calls on associated regions. It was a great opportunity to discuss the concept of the “associated regions” and the dedicated funding under the Mission Ocean calls.
The meeting has also provided an opportunity to discuss how to drive the blue transition agenda, because only by working together, will we collectively be able to deliver impactful solutions to restore our Ocean and waters and promote a circular and sustainable blue economy.
