EU Beach Cleanup 2023
Global Campaign for clean, plastic-free oceans!
EUBeachCleanup2023 is a campaign organised by the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (DG MARE), EEAS, United Nations and The Smurfs, that pretends to raise awareness about marine pollution through clean-up events organised by institutions, NGOs, and citizens.
The culmination of the campaign will happen on the International Coastal Clean-up Day on September 16th 2023, but events can be organised until October for those who want to contribute to this mission by joining forces at the local level (e.g., climate pact ambassadors, schools, municipalities etc.).
