AIR Centre PhD Scholarship Programme [#missionocean]
A serious game approach to a coastal community living lab
Until 3rd July, an international call is open to grant 1 (one) PhD Scholarship on A serious game approach to a coastal community living lab.
Aligned with the European Commission’s Mission to “restore our ocean and waters by 2030” the PhD work plan is part of the A-AAGORA project - Blueprint for Atlantic-Arctic Agora on cross-sectoral cooperation for restoration of marine and coastal ecosystems and increased climate resilience through transformative innovation.
Under the collaboration protocol signed between the Portuguese National Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) and the AIR Centre, the research question of the work plan is: How to contribute to better inform citizens and decision makers by mobilising local actors and coastal communities in active and passive marine ecosystem restoration and by co-creating socially and economically sustainable solutions?
The candidates should have an academic background in marine science, marine ecology, or marine social sciences. Skills in computing programming and database analyses are required.
This job opportunity is open until 3rd July 2023.
